Red-State Government Destroys Biden Over Direct Involvement With Border

In reaction to the border crisis that the government has created with its policies—and which comes as the situation at the border is anticipated to grow considerably worse this week as Title 42 is scheduled to expire—Texas Gov. Greg Abbott criticized President Biden and his administration.

When challenged about remarks spoken by Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, who said that the border has been closed while stating that the immigration issue is Congress’ responsibility, Abbott made the statements on “Fox News Sunday” with anchor Shannon Bream.

Bream also pointed out that the White House is attempting to pin some of the responsibility for the immigration issue on Abbott since he has sent some illegal immigrants to areas that lean blue because Texas just lacks the infrastructure to handle the rise in illegal immigration.

“First of all,” Abbott explained, “The explanation for why we’re busing those migrants throughout the country is due to the fact that small border towns like Del Rio along with Eagle Pass do not have the capacity to handle the sheer amount of individuals traveling across the border, and we must reduce the congestion within these small towns by busing them to bigger communities. That being said, Shannon, it must be made clear that what you just claimed about what Mayorkas said is outright false or shows complete ignorance. The border is shut, he claims. Everyone in America is aware that the border is open rather than closed.”

The border situation was considerably much better under the administration of Donald Trump, according to Abbott, who also noted that it only started to rapidly deteriorate “when Biden arrived and removed all of those measures and placed a welcome back — welcome mat to everyone around the globe that the southern border has been declared open, and we abruptly are experiencing the chaos that has been brought on exclusively by policies set in place by Joe Biden.”

Abbott scoffed at Biden’s plan to station a few soldiers alongside the 2,000-mile U.S.-Mexico border, claiming that Biden was just doing so “for the sake of paperwork and that he is not intending to secure the border.”
