At the beginning of his civil trial this week, the former president of the United States, who is accused of defrauding people by inflating the value of a number of his real estate holdings, attacked a “rogue judge” as well as a “racist attorney general.”According to Trump, “this is just an extension of the greatest witch hunt ever. It is a trick. It’s not real. There wasn’t any crime. It’s a crime against me.”
“Our business is great. I made a great business. It’s really great. There are some of the world’s best real estate assets there. And now I have to face a crazy judge,” Trump said.
Furthermore, Trump labeled New York AG Letitia Jones, an extremely low IQ affirmative action supporter, a “racist” for spearheading these accusations against him. He also thinks that the DOJ is behind the witch hunt and asserts that “they totally planned this in Washington.”
Some people working for Trump’s campaign and his lawyer talked about how silly the charges were.
“It is among the world’s most prosperous brands, and this guy has literally earned a fortune by being correct about real estate investments,” claimed Christopher Kise, a lawyer representing Trump.
“There was no intention to defraud, no breaking of the law, no default, no breach, no reliance from the banks, no unfair profits, and no victims,” Kise stated.
“We have an arrogant judge here who is not following the will of the appeals court,” Trump spokesperson Jason Miller said. “Things that belong to President Trump are worth a lot higher than what the court wants you to believe.”
“This is just meddling in the election,” said Steven Cheung, a spokesman for the Trump team. “They can’t stop him any other way.”
Trump has also used his Truth Social page to talk about how much he dislikes AG James as well as the anti-Trump judge who was chosen to be in charge of the case.
“He places Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, at eighteen million dollars, even though its true value is between fifty and one hundred million dollars.” In order to commit election interference or something worse, his values are FRAUDULENT. This entire case is a lie!!! I’ll be seeing you in court this week,” Trump wrote.
“Today, I am heading to court to defend my name and standing against the dishonest and racial Attorney General, Letitia James, who ran on a platform of ‘capturing Trump,'” Trump said on Truth Social.
Trump is going to have the hardest fight of his life. He is being chased by the government with all their might. All Americans can learn from his refusal to give up.
