Hamas Leader Threatens To Televise Gruesome Killings

While the Israel Defense Forces are preparing to strike back at the terrorist organization Hamas for initiating an unexpected attack that has resulted in the deaths of nine hundred people, the leadership of Hamas is threatening to execute any hostages that are seized and to make public the video of these killings.

Abu Obeida, a spokesman for Hamas, sent the message and made an audio recording of his threats public.

“With regret, we must emphasize that we will execute the hostages under our possession if innocent civilians are targeted without notice going forward, and we will be compelled to livestream this act of violence,” Obeida declared.

The threat says this will happen if the IDF attacks innocent citizens, but Hamas’ military camps are located in places with lots of civilians, like schools and hospitals, that have a lot of civilians. Because of this, it is basically impossible to fight Hamas without killing people.

This is part of what Hamas plans to do.

Sami Abu Zuhri, who was a spokeswoman for Hamas at the time, stated on al-Aqsa TV in the year 2014 that this really is an honor for the Palestinian people.

“This demonstrates the character that defines our noble, jihad-loving citizens – who defend their freedoms as well as their homes by using their bare chests as well as their blood,” stated Zuhri.

“The policy of people facing Israeli bombers with their bare chests to protect their homes has worked well against the rule… We, at Hamas, want our people to follow this plan to protect Palestinian houses.’

At this point, it’s not clear the number of hostages Hamas has or if the people they took are still living in Hamas land. Sadly, their deaths may have been predetermined from the start. Israel was going to fight back, and Hamas knew they wouldn’t stop for prisoners. In public, Hamas can use these deaths to hurt Israelis and make people around the world dislike their country more. Because Obeida used the word “forced,” the story is already being created to make it sound like Hamas was given no choice but to carry out this in a last-ditch effort to stop what they would like you to think is an unfair attack.

In fact, the Gatestone Institute has pointed out that Hamas often exaggerates the number of individuals killed by Israel by including people who were killed in domestic violence and people who were accused of working with Israel.

No information is available at this time on whether the IDF has plans to free these prisoners. The IDF is currently putting a siege on the Gaza Strip as this is being written. Any prisoners that can be freed will be, but it is likely that Hamas will be using them to keep the IDF from moving if they can.

That being said, the IDF has made it clear that the final goal is to destroy Hamas completely:

A spokesman for the IDF, Lt. Colonel Richard Hecht, stated on Sunday that the main goal for the next few hours and days was going to be to “control the whole enclave and kill every one of the terrorists within our territory.”
