In the year 2018, Viruses, a scientific publication, released research titled SARS-Like Coronavirus WIV1-CoV Doesn’t Replicate among Egyptian Fruit Bats. The report revealed that Fauci asked the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to do a study in which a “SARS-like” virus was given to 12 Egyptian fruit bats that were purchased from a “roadside” zoo inside the state of Maryland. This is a lot like the experiments that are thought to have led to the COVID-19 spread in Wuhan, China, which came from a virology lab.

The study wasn’t given much attention when it came out, and most people forgot about it until it was found and looked over by DRASTIC, an online group of citizen watchdogs who have launched an investigation into where the COVID-19 pandemic came from and how corruption affected it. The White Coat Waste Project is currently utilizing the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to ask for more details about the study.

“Our research has revealed the true horror tale of how a shadowy roadside zoo, run by an NIH animal experimenter, sent off bats to a lethal government virus laboratory under Dr. Fauci’s supervision to become infected with a coronavirus that was directly obtained from the Wuhan lab, which experts believe caused COVID,” stated Anthony Bellotti, the founder of White Coat Waste Project.

“Just this past year, the Wuhan Institute of Virology received $3.7 million from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s government agency to investigate coronavirus in bats.”

The Wuhan Institute got a grant from the NIH not long after a different $3.7 million project ended after four years. This grant was backed by the NIAID, of which Dr. Fauci has been head since 1984. This means that this crazy science study in China was paid for by the federal government with $7.4 million!

Scientists have told the public about this kind of study because it is so dangerous. It includes working with viruses in the lab to figure out how they can infect people. Critics have long said that studies like the ones Dr. Fauci supports put people at a very high risk of starting a pandemic, and it looks like their worst fears came true with the coronavirus.
