Democrats Unleash Migrants – Violent Mobs Allowed To WHAT To Cops?

A recent assault on two New York Police Department officers by a group of migrants outside a Times Square shelter is a disturbing reminder of the dangers of mass migration.

The violent altercation, caught on surveillance footage, shows a mob of migrants attacking the officers after they attempted to instruct the individuals to move along. This attack not only resulted in physical injuries to the officers but also highlights the growing tensions and challenges in dealing with the city’s increasing migrant population.

The swift arrest of five individuals involved in the assault, including Darwin Andres Gomez Izquiel, Kelvin Servat Arocha, Juarez Wilson, Yorman Reveron, and Jhoan Boada, indicates the NYPD’s commitment to addressing such violent incidents. However, the fact that some of the accused, such as Reveron, who has open cases for assault and robbery, were released without bail is concerning. It suggests a potential gap in the justice system’s ability to effectively manage offenders and protect public servants like police officers.

Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Hendry’s statement about the attacks on police officers becoming an epidemic due to the justice system’s revolving door policy reflects a growing frustration among law enforcement. This frustration is exacerbated by the increasing strain on New York City’s shelter system, which now houses over 67,000 migrants, as part of the over 172,000 migrants who have crossed into the United States from the southern border and are now residing in the city.

Mayor Eric Adams’ recent imposition of curfews on some migrant shelters is a response to local residents’ complaints and an attempt to manage the situation. However, this incident underscores the need for more comprehensive solutions to address the migrant crisis, ensuring both the safety of the public and the migrants themselves.

The brutal assault on NYPD officers by migrants in Times Square is a stark wake-up call to New York City and the Biden administration. It underscores the urgent need for stronger law enforcement measures and a more coherent immigration policy. Mayor Adams’ curfews on shelters are a mere band-aid solution to a deepening crisis. This incident should serve as a catalyst for immediate and decisive action to address the chaos wrought by unchecked immigration.
