Biden’s Blame Shift FAILS Miserably

According to polls, the public doesn’t agree with President Joe Biden’s heavily embellished, campaign-trail assertion that Republicans are the real border security sabotagers.

In order to prove it to a national TV news audience, Biden is traveling to the Mexican border today. In part because Donald Trump is also doing a campaign rally near the border today, he will have plenty of coverage to support his assertions.

In February, Biden made a pledge that “the American people will know every day between now and November that the only reason the border is not secure is Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican cronies.”

Unfortunately for Biden, a February 21–22 survey by the Harvard Center for American Political Studies and The Harris survey found that 57% of 2,022 registered voters agreed with Trump’s critique of the establishment’s pro-migration border plan.

Monmouth University conducted a survey from February 8–12, and 47 percent of 902 people rejected the establishment bill because it was “not challenging enough.”

In addition, the Monmouth survey posed the question, “Who is more responsible for stalling this bill—the Republicans in Congress, the Democrats in Congress, or both parties equally?” Merely 36% of respondents attributed the fault to the Republicans, 13% to the Democrats, and 48% to “both parties equally.”

Reelection prospects for Biden have been severely harmed by the entrance of almost 6.2 million economic migrants, according to a Gallup poll released on February 23:

“Biden’s approval ratings for his handling of the country’s five major issues are below average, with immigration reaching a new low of 28%.”

It seems improbable that Biden can assign the GOP any responsibility for his disastrous immigration policy, based on the polls.

The public has witnessed for the past three years how, from his initial days in office, Biden purposefully undermined President Trump’s border security measures. So far, his subordinates have accepted one immigrant, legal or illegal, for each American born under his administration.

Additionally, Biden asserts that the GOP undermined border security by rejecting the immigration-friendly border agreement that Democratic and Republican leaders had crafted in the Senate.
