Biden Family Gets Revenge On Diary Thief

A federal judge in New York condemned a Florida woman to one month in jail on Tuesday for her involvement in a conspiracy to sell President Joe Biden’s daughter Ashley’s stolen diary.

The New York Times reports that Judge Laura Taylor Swain said that 41-year-old Aimee Harris, a mother of two children, had behaved in a “despicable and consequently extremely severe” manner.

Harris will likely start her sentence in July. Swain also sentenced Harris to three years of probation and three months of home confinement. Additionally, Harris allegedly received an order to return the $20,000 she made from the sale of the journal.

The Department of Justice claims that in the weeks leading up to the 2020 election, Harris and a man named Robert Kurlander worked together to sell the property to an organization known as Project Veritas for $40,000 after discovering Ashley Biden’s journal and other belongings in a private Florida home.

According to court documents obtained by NBC News, the two had previously attempted to sell the files to the campaign of former President Donald Trump but had been turned down and told to turn them over to the FBI.

In December 2022, Harris and Kurlander entered a guilty plea to conspiring to carry stolen items over state lines. Both expressed regret for what they had done at the time.

However, court documents reveal that there were several delays, and Harris gave excuses like health concerns and the lack of child care, which prompted prosecutors to ask for a heavier sentence. Harris “abused the administration of justice throughout the pendency of this court process,” according to U.S. Attorney Damian Williams.

According to Bloomberg News, Project Veritas did not release Ashley Biden’s diary’s contents, but the organization is now the target of FBI searches and a federal inquiry. According to a representative for Project Veritas, the organization’s “news collection was ethical and lawful.”

Published by National File, purportedly from a Project Veritas source, were pages from the first daughter’s journal.

Because the journal contains explosive but unsubstantiated allegations about President Biden, this case has received a great deal of attention. The reaction to the sentence has been harsh, especially on the right.

Kurlander, sixty, has not received a punishment as of yet.

The New York Times said that Kurlander has complied with the FBI inquiry, and on Friday, the prosecution asked for a six-month postponement.

Ashley Biden reportedly called what occurred to her “one of the most terrible types of bullying” in a statement she gave to the court, according to the news site.
