Trump Levels DeSantis With The Cold Truth About His Career

Former President Donald Trump criticized Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after the governor’s recent speech in New Hampshire, saying he feels DeSantis is damaging any future 2028 presidential ambitions.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump claimed that “Ron DeSanctimonious was totally ‘demolished’ for the performance he gave in New Hampshire yesterday.”

“There aren’t any people, energy, or interest. His campaign is in shambles. He is seriously damaging his prospects for 2028. As you can see, Patriots value loyalty!” exclaimed Trump.

Trump criticized DeSantis after learning that he and his family had spent the 4th of July in the state of New Hampshire and had participated in the parades in Merrimack as well as Wolfeboro.

Of course, the DeSantis campaign took a quite different stance, claiming that “enthusiasm remained high” in spite of the wet weather.

Meanwhile, Trump has come under fire from the mainstream media and his adversaries for not running his campaign in the same way on July 4. Steven Cheung, a spokesman for the Trump 2024 campaign, argued that Trump did engage in the Fourth of July holiday weekend, notably with his sizable event in South Carolina, which allegedly attracted over 50,000 people.

According to Cheung, who spoke to the New York Times, “His campaign is expected to have a powerful presence at many different parades and patriotic celebrations across Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina, connecting with voters and Americans who have become sick of Joe Biden’s disastrous leadership.”

Trump continues to lead in nationwide and state-level surveys, including the early primary state of NH, despite all the efforts of his opponents. Trump has a 28-point advantage in the state according to a recent survey by the Anselm College Survey Center.

Former Donald Trump supporter Steve Cortes, who serves as an advisor to the pro-DeSantis super PAC Never Back Down, recently acknowledged that the DeSantis campaign has a difficult primary contest against Trump, whom he called the current “runaway frontrunner.”

He acknowledged during a Twitter Spaces debate that “currently in national polls we are significantly behind. We have a lot of work to do because we are behind by double digits.”

In the meanwhile, as the DeSantis team continues to concentrate on early primary states, Casey DeSantis is anticipated to attend a Mamas for DeSantis rally in Johnston, Iowa, with Governor Kim Reynolds this week.
