Less than a month before the presidential election, former Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) is back on the “Orange Man Bad” circuit. She gave urgent warnings about former President Donald Trump turning fully fascist if he is reelected during an appearance on NBC News’ “Meet the Press.”
The former congressman made reference to a recent Supreme Court decision when he told anchor Kristen Welker that the former president “believes he will be immune for any action he takes once he’s in office.”
As expected, Cheney sided with Vice President Kamala Harris and accompanied her on the campaign road. “People need to understand that our courts are powerless to execute their own decisions. He will not accept the decisions made by our courts. Thus, we are no longer a nation of laws if a president declines to fulfill his duty to do so,” Cheney said.
General Mark Milley’s assertion that the Orange Man What Is Bad TM is “a fascist to the core” was brought up by Welker.
There is “no reason to disagree with that assessment,” according to Cheney.
Naturally, Cheney is also concerned with international affairs, and she probably drools at the prospect of further conflict in the Middle East. While brushing aside significant policy differences with Harris and the Democrats, she attacked Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), for advocating “an isolationist foreign policy and a chaotic foreign policy.”

Cheney’s attendance at Harris’ campaign rallies has drawn criticism, particularly from the Muslim community:
The Muslim Election Task Force condemned the showing of Cheney, referring to her as a “torture defender” and saying that Harris is alienating important demographic groups.”
The coalition of Muslim political groups, slammed Harris in a press release for giving Cheney a platform, referring to her support for policies connected with the Bush administration, including using torture in interrogations.
