The time for half-measures is over. President Trump was elected with a clear mandate: Stop the invasion at our border, restore law and order, and put Americans first. That means one thing right now—ramp up deportations immediately and stop treating radical leftists and weak Republicans like they’re negotiating partners.
The left, backed by the media and street agitators, is trying to twist a tragic event in Minneapolis into political ammunition. They’ve turned a known anti-ICE radical, Alex Pretti, into a martyr. But the facts don’t lie. Pretti was part of an organized group that interfered with federal enforcement, doxxed agents, and even encouraged suicide bomb-style tactics. He was armed, carrying extra magazines, and had a history of violent behavior toward law enforcement. Yet the media calls him a “gentle nurse.” That’s not just dishonest—it’s dangerous.
Let’s be clear: The Border Patrol agents who confronted Pretti were doing their job. They are the last line of defense between American citizens and the chaos that open borders bring. The idea that they now have to justify themselves to the FBI while leftists scream for their heads is a disgrace.
And where are the Republicans? Some are fighting. But too many are backing down, trying to play nice with Democrats and their media allies. Some, like Rep. Mike Lawler, are even pushing amnesty in the middle of all this. That’s not just betrayal—it’s surrender. Lawler and his crew would rather be liked by the New York Times than stand up for the millions of Americans who voted to fix this broken system.
Meanwhile, Senate Democrats are holding the government hostage over ICE funding. They want to gut enforcement, force agents to get judicial warrants for every operation, and basically give permanent amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. These aren’t just policy disagreements. This is a full-on attempt to stop the president from doing what the law, the Constitution, and the American people have told him to do.
President Trump did the right thing by sending border czar Tom Homan to Minneapolis to assess the situation. But it’s now clear that the radicals running that city—and the state of Minnesota—don’t want peace. Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz made it clear they won’t cooperate with ICE, even to remove criminal aliens sitting in their jails. Their loyalty is to illegal aliens, not American citizens. And they feel no pressure to change, because the media covers for them, and establishment Republicans look the other way.
So what’s the answer? It’s simple: Enforce the law, no apologies. Ramp up deportations. Use every tool of federal power to root out illegal immigration and the radical networks that protect it. Stop playing defense and go on offense. The left is trying to humiliate this administration, to make it back down and abandon the America First agenda. That must not happen.
The American people voted for a strong border. They voted for law and order. They voted for a president who would stop making excuses and start putting Americans first. President Trump has that mandate, and this is the moment to carry it out boldly and without compromise.
This isn’t just about Minneapolis. It’s about the soul of the country. Will we be a nation of laws, or a playground for left-wing mobs and globalist interests? Will we protect our citizens, or cater to those who broke our laws to get here?
The answer must be clear. The president should stop negotiating with people who hate him, hate our laws, and hate our country. Enforce the law. Deport those here illegally. And show the American people that their vote still matters. That’s how we win. That’s how we restore the Republic.
