Judge James “Jeb” Boasberg appears to be convinced that he is more important and powerful than the man that Americans elected as President of the United States. Boasberg isn’t even taking a break for the holidays. (Then again, why would he? All communists are atheists.) On December 22, Boasberg issued a 43-page ruling to demand that President Trump bring over 100 deported Venezuelan terrorists from El Salvador, so they can have a day in court that they are not even entitled to. Why hasn’t Congress already impeached this clown in black robes?
One of President Trump’s first actions this year was to invoke the Alien Enemies Act, which is one of America’s oldest laws. Trump invoked the act to begin the swift deportations of Venezuelan terrorists who belong to Tren de Aragua. DHS quickly rounded up about 130 of these dangerous terrorists and stuck them on a plane to El Salvador, which had pledged to lock them in a super-max prison.
Boasberg tried to order the military plane to turn around and bring the terrorists back. He tried to hold the Trump administration in contempt of court for not following his instructions for the military. Can you believe the nerve of this guy?
In April, the US Supreme Court overruled Boasberg. The high court declared that President Trump is authorized to invoke the Alien Enemies Act. Just like every president prior to Donald Trump was allowed to do.
Boasberg has been furious about this ever since. The Obama-era judge has thrown up roadblock after roadblock to try to stop President Trump’s wildly popular agenda.
On Monday, December 22, Boasberg issued a new 43-page ruling. He is now demanding that El Salvador release those Tren de Aragua members, and that the Trump administration will facilitate their return to America. We haven’t checked El Salvador’s constitution, but we’re fairly certain that a US District Court judge from Washington, DC, has no jurisdiction to boss around President Nayib Bukele.
Boasberg wants these foreign terrorists brought back to America so that each and every one of them can individually challenge his deportation order. That is literally insane. And of course, every one of them will have “free” legal services provided to them by the Democrat Party.
Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) introduced articles of impeachment against Boasberg. The articles accuse the rogue judge of improperly interfering with presidential authority under the Alien Enemies Act. The resolution argues that the Alien Enemies Act reserves authority to the executive branch, and that Boasberg has substituted his own judgment for the will of Congress and the US Constitution.
The key allegation is that Boasberg has abused his power as a judge by violating his oath and attempting to usurp executive power. Brandon Gill introduced those articles of impeachment against Boasberg back in March. After all these months, House Republicans have made no effort to act.
Do you remember when everyone learned in October that Special Counsel Jack Smith had illegally spied on Republicans in the House and Senate? It was part of Smith’s witch hunt against Donald Trump. Smith obtained an illegal order, signed by a judge, that authorized him to spy on the electronic communications of Republicans around the time of the January 6 “fed-surrection.”
The judge in that case signed off on a gag order to prevent the Republicans from learning that the Department of Justice spied on their communications. That’s completely illegal. Members of Congress are always supposed to be notified when the DOJ spies on their communications.
Have you guessed which judge signed that illegal order to help Jack Smith in his witch hunt against Donald Trump?
That’s right. It was Jeb Boasberg.
Once again, Rep. Gill introduced articles of impeachment against Boasberg on November 4. The articles accuse Boasberg of abuse of power again, by issuing frivolous gag orders and subpoenas to Jack Smith. Boasberg’s orders illegally interfered with the lawful duties of Senators and Representatives. The judge’s actions violated constitutional protections and demonstrated that he is unfit for office.
And once again, Republicans in Congress have taken no action on those articles of impeachment.
All that we really wanted for Christmas this year was for this stain on the judiciary to be impeached. Republicans in the House deserved a lump of coal in their stockings this year for their failure to remove Jeb Boasberg from the bench.
