Assassination Culture Threatens America’s Core Values

Assassination Culture Threatens America’s Core Values

America is facing a growing danger, and it’s not coming from foreign enemies or hostile governments. It’s coming from within. A new report shows something we’ve all felt for a while now—political violence is on the rise in our own country, and it’s being pushed and celebrated by the radical Left.

The research, done by the Network Contagion Research Institute and Rutgers University, confirms what conservatives have been warning about for years. There is a dangerous new culture spreading in America—what they call “assassination culture.” It’s a sick and twisted mindset where people think it’s okay to kill others just because they disagree with their views. And this isn’t just talk. It’s already turned deadly.

Just last week, Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed by a sniper while speaking to a group of students in Utah. He had warned about this exact kind of violence not long before he died. His death wasn’t an accident. It was a targeted political hit, and it’s part of a terrifying pattern.

Let’s look at the facts. In July 2024, President Trump was nearly killed at a campaign rally when a radical leftist opened fire. A brave firefighter named Corey Comperatore died protecting others. In December 2024, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare was gunned down outside a hotel in New York. In July 2025, a shooter stormed a building in Manhattan, killing four people. And now, Charlie Kirk is gone. These aren’t random crimes—they’re politically motivated attacks, and many are aimed at conservatives or successful business leaders.

The report also shows that this kind of violence is being encouraged, especially online. Young people, especially those who lean left, are being brainwashed into thinking murder is “justified” if the target is a billionaire or a conservative. That’s not just wrong—it’s evil. According to the study, half of people who identify as left-of-center said it would be at least “somewhat justified” to murder a billionaire. That’s not politics. That’s terrorism.

Even worse, these killers are being turned into heroes by their supporters. The man who shot the UnitedHealthcare CEO has people cheering him on in court. And the sniper who killed Charlie Kirk was found with bullets marked with slogans from far-left internet memes. This is what happens when we let hate fester and go unchecked.

This rise in violence didn’t happen overnight. It’s been building for years. The media, Hollywood, and college campuses have been feeding young people a steady diet of anti-American, anti-capitalist, and anti-conservative lies. They’ve spent years calling Trump supporters “Nazis” and “fascists.” They’ve painted successful businesspeople as villains who deserve punishment. And now we’re seeing the deadly results.

The researchers behind the report are urging leaders in politics and culture to speak out and condemn this violence. That’s a good start, but it’s not enough. We need real change. We need to protect our free speech, our right to assemble, and our right to live without fear of being targeted for our beliefs. We need to hold the media accountable for pushing dangerous narratives. And we need to take a hard look at what’s being taught in our schools and spread online.

President Trump survived an assassination attempt. Charlie Kirk did not. How many more lives have to be lost before the Left stops fueling this fire?

This is a turning point for our country. We can’t let political violence become the new normal. We must stand up, speak out, and defend the values that make America great—freedom, law and order, and respect for life. The Constitution does not give anyone the right to silence others with bullets. It gives all of us the right to speak, to worship, to assemble, and to live free.

We must not allow radicals to tear this country apart. America is worth fighting for—peacefully, lawfully, and boldly. Let the memory of Charlie Kirk remind us of what is at stake. Let us honor him by standing strong in the face of hate.
