Thanks to the fearless reporting of James O’Keefe, we now know that a Secret Service agent assigned to protect Vice President JD Vance gave away sensitive information to an undercover journalist. The agent, Tomas Escotto, reportedly shared real-time location data, travel plans, details about security formations, and even photos above Air Force 2. This is not just a mistake — it’s a national security risk.
Let’s be clear about what this means. A man tasked with guarding the Vice President of the United States handed over classified details to someone he thought was a love interest. He fell for a classic honeypot scheme — wherein a woman (usually) seduces a man for information, only to betray him.

Why was Escotto so ready to give up national security secrets? Besides the promise of hanky-panky, because he didn’t like President Trump’s immigration policies. He told the undercover reporter he voted for Joe Biden. That’s right — a Biden-supporting agent, granted U.S. citizenship only in 2018, was allowed to serve on the protective detail of a sitting Vice President and then used that position to leak information.
This is not only unbelievable — it’s unacceptable.
It’s no secret that the Deep State has been working overtime to undermine President Trump and his America First agenda. But this? This crosses every imaginable line. When politics infect our law enforcement and intelligence agencies, we stop being a republic under the rule of law and start becoming something much darker.
The agent, now placed on administrative leave and stripped of his security clearance, should never have been allowed anywhere near the Vice President. And while the Secret Service says it’s launching an investigation and retraining its personnel (specifically how not to fall for a honeypot scheme), that’s not enough. Heads should roll. Trust in our protective agencies must be earned back, because right now it is shattered.
The footage released by James O’Keefe shows the agent talking freely, bragging about his position, and complaining about Trump-era immigration policies. He didn’t just make a mistake — he clearly had an agenda. He took an oath to protect the Vice President, but instead, he betrayed that oath for personal and political reasons. That’s not just dangerous — it’s treasonous.

This comes on the heels of an attempted break-in at Vice President Vance’s home. Coincidence? Maybe. But when someone with insider knowledge starts leaking details, all bets are off. And let’s not forget — this isn’t the first time the Secret Service has been caught with its guard down. According to the agency itself, this is the second time in less than a year that someone inside has been targeted by undercover journalists revealing serious breaches.
The American people have had enough of these so-called “public servants” who turn their back on the Constitution. We deserve better — and our leaders deserve to be protected by agents who put duty before politics.
Turning Point USA’s Andrew Kolvet put it best: this is a top national security threat. Judicial Watch’s Tom Fitton added that the Secret Service is a “dangerous mess.” They’re right. And unless we clean house now, we’re just asking for something worse to happen.
