Democrats Prove Yet Again They Are Hypocrites

Republicans have been under fire from Democrats for busing migrants away from the border, claiming that these measures are inhumane and take advantage of the weak.

However, Democratic governor of Colorado Jared Polis has been busing immigrants out of the Centennial State for several weeks. After New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) expressed displeasure that Polis would be bringing in additional immigrants, his operation gained attention.

What was said by Adams?

Adams expressed his displeasure on Tuesday, claiming that his office had been informed on Monday that migrants from Colorado will be sent to key places like New York and Chicago.

Adams added, according to the New York Post, “We were informed yesterday that the governor of Colorado has now declared that they are going to be transporting migrants to locations like New York and Chicago. It is simply unfair for local governments to be required to fulfill this national duty. We completed our task. The inn is completely full.”

How did Polis respond?

The idea has been approved, according to Polis, who told Politico that $4 million has been set aside by Colorado officials to help with the immigration problem.

Polis admitted that Colorado has been moving immigrants for weeks. Because many had been stranded in the state for several weeks owing to harsh winter weather, there are only more people departing the area today.

“The migrants who have been stuck for a week or two in a location they didn’t desire to be in due to no fault of their own are really frustrated,” according to Polis, who spoke to Politico.

Axios claims that Polis is using the fact that most migrants do not wish to remain in Colorado to defend the transportation of migrants. He explained that he is assisting them in getting to their destination. Naturally, that reasoning is entirely rational and is the one Republican governors use to defend their choice of immigrants in big cities.

Polis nevertheless asserted — without providing any supporting data, of course — that Colorado’s approach to migrant transportation differs in some way from that of some other states.

“It’s sad that in some instances, people have been used as political props,” he told Politico. “Too many people, in our perspective, perceive this through a political lens or as playing politics,” he said. “But by treating individuals with respect and dignity, we are just upholding our ideals.”

Midway through December, a flood of migrants prompted Denver to declare a state of emergency.
