A foreign billionaire is pouring money into our country to push radical ideas, and the Left is letting him do it without a fight. Christopher Hohn, a hedge fund manager from the United Kingdom, has pushed more than half a billion dollars into the United States over the past decade. That’s right—over $550 million, and not for charity or helping people. He’s using that cash to fund protests, climate lawsuits, and attacks on American energy. And it’s all to force a far-left, globalist agenda on the American people.

Let’s be clear—this is illegal. Federal law says foreign nationals are not allowed to influence our elections or our politics. But Hohn has found a way around it by hiding behind a nonprofit, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, based in London. This group is funneling his money into American organizations that push for bans on natural gas stoves, shut down fossil fuel production, and sue companies that keep our lights on and our homes warm.

Worse, this man and his foundation have ties to Communist China. The CEO of his nonprofit is part of a Chinese-led coalition that is tied to the Belt and Road Initiative—a dangerous program run by the Chinese Communist Party to spread their influence around the globe. In fact, Hohn’s group has even given awards to CCP officials. That’s not philanthropy. That’s foreign espionage hiding behind climate activism.

So while the Democrats scream about “foreign interference” every time a conservative sneezes, they’re perfectly happy to let a billionaire from Britain, with ties to the Chinese Communist Party, spend hundreds of millions of dollars to shape America’s energy policy. This is not just hypocrisy. It’s a direct threat to our sovereignty.

We’ve seen the effects. Progressive groups, funded by Hohn’s money, are dominating the debate in Washington and in liberal states like California. They’re the ones pushing for electric car mandates, gas stove bans, and energy policies that make it harder for working Americans to afford heat, gas, or food. They don’t care about real science or common sense. They care about control.

And who benefits when America gives up its energy independence? China does. Russia does. And the global elites who want to weaken our country benefit too. But under President Trump, we are seeing a return to real leadership. He is fighting back against these green radicals.
