Yet, here we are in 2024, with Democrats pushing the idea that men and women should compete against each other as if muscle mass, bone density, and testosterone levels are all just social constructs. Spoiler alert: they’re not.
The science is irrefutable. Biological men have physical advantages that women simply do not, including greater muscle mass, lung capacity, and bone density. That’s not “bigotry” – that’s reality. The differences aren’t small, and they’re not something that can be overcome with training or “identity.” Men who identify as women and compete in women’s sports are naturally stronger, faster, and more resilient. This doesn’t just tilt the playing field; it practically bulldozes it. Women who have trained for years are being pushed out of their own competitions, their own records, and their own victories – all in the name of “inclusivity.”
In recent years, we’ve seen this issue play out in ways that should be enough to convince anyone with common sense. From swimming to weightlifting, the results are the same: biological males dominating competitions meant for women. Female athletes work their entire lives for these moments, only to watch them be taken away by competitors who have significant physiological advantages. Democrats want us to believe this is “progressive,” but there’s nothing progressive about erasing women from their own sports.
And here’s the kicker: even many liberal feminists are starting to see the hypocrisy here. They champion “women’s rights” but suddenly go silent when men take spots in women’s competitions. Democrats are caught in their own ideological trap – they want to be both the party of science and the party of “anything goes.” But in reality, they’re abandoning women, the very group they claim to support, in favor of a nonsensical ideology that dismisses the basic science of sex differences.
Former President Trump understood that fairness in sports is foundational to both competition and culture. Under his administration, the Department of Education clarified Title IX protections to ensure that women’s sports remain for biological females. Trump’s leadership recognized that when women’s sports are taken over by men, women lose the opportunities Title IX was created to protect. His common-sense approach didn’t buy into the media’s obsession with pandering; he stood up for fairness.
Men in women’s sports aren’t just an unfair advantage – they’re an erasure of women’s achievements. Republicans believe in respecting biological differences and preserving a fair playing field. Democrats might want to ignore the science to score political points, but true fairness means protecting women’s sports for women. Common sense shouldn’t be controversial. Americans deserve leadership that respects reality, not ideology. Women fought for their place in sports – let’s make sure they keep it.
