Hunter Biden has petitioned a court to prevent his estranged daughter from using his surname.

On December 27, Lunden Roberts, Hunter’s former girlfriend and mother of his love child, submitted a name change petition in an Arkansas court. Clinton Lancaster, Roberts’ lawyer, told Circuit Court Judge Holly Meyer that Hunter’s estranged daughter Navy Jean Roberts will “benefit from wearing the Biden family name” since it is “now associated with being well educated, wealthy, financially astute, and politically influential.”

Roberts hopes that her daughter adopting her father’s surname will provide opportunities for Navy “much as it has done for other members of the Biden family.”

According to Roberts, the Biden family is “estranged from the youngster.”

“To the degree that this is misbehavior or negligence, it can be remedied by changing her last name to Biden so that she will be unquestionably recognized to the world as the defendant’s kid and member of the distinguished Biden family,” Roberts wrote in her court brief.

However, Biden is attempting to prevent his daughter from inheriting his surname. He claimed that adopting his surname would deprive the youngster of a “peaceful existence.”

Hunter’s counsel stated that Navy should decide for herself after “the denigration of the Biden name is no longer at its height,” according to the New York Post.

Biden, 52, hasn’t ever met his 4-year-old daughter.

Biden previously denied fathering the child until a DNA test in 2019 confirmed Navy was his daughter “with scientific certainty.”

Hunter Biden reached a $2.5 million settlement with Roberts in March 2020 and consented to pay child support. Then, in Sept. of the same year, Biden requested a reduction in his child support payments due to a “significant alteration” in his “financial circumstances.”

Biden first met Roberts while she was working as a stripper in Washington, D.C. Hunter was seeing his sister-in-law Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother Beau Biden, at the time of their intimate relationship.

According to reports, Roberts worked for Hunter’s consulting firm, Rosemont Seneca.

In his memoir “Beautiful Things,” published in 2021, Biden stated that he “had no memory of the encounter” with Roberts.

President Joe Biden has already been chastised for failing to recognize Navy, his seventh grandchild.
