Hypocrisy Exposed: Democrat Candidate for Gov Wants to Defund Police, but Enjoys Private Security

The midterm elections are quickly approaching. And an unlikely state has become a battleground between the Democrats and Republicans, Georgia. The once reliably-red state has fallen under the corruption of radical Democrats. The far left has exploited weak election laws to gang a foothold in Atlanta and other areas.

And the most radical Democrat of them all, Stacey Abrams, is trying for governor once again. The far-left Democrat sits on a board that advocates for the defunding of the police. This agenda has led to skyrocketing crime in blue states across the country. But while Abrams nods her head at this extreme view, she dishes out hundreds of thousands for private security.

Georgia’s Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for private security through her campaign since December 2021 when she launched her second bid for governor, despite being a board member of a foundation that wants to abolish police and personally backing an anti-police initiative.

Between December 2021 and April 2022, Abrams’ campaign doled out over $450,000 to Executive Protection Agencies (EPA Security), an Atlanta-based private security firm…

Over 100 sheriffs in the Peach State condemned Abrams over her ties to the foundation and her “soft-on-crime policies,” which followed Gov. Brian Kemp calling on her to resign from its board. The attention follows numerous Fox News Digital reports on her involvement with the group. [Source: Fox News]

Abrams has offered lip service to police, but she sits on the board of a radical, Seattle-based group that seeks to defund the police. Yet at the same time, she has spent a small fortune on private security.

Right now, Democrats are trying to play down the last few years, when they advocated for defunding cops. But that will only last until after the elections. If Democrats are elected to power, they will go full stead ahead on their defund plans again.

Major cities and even entire states will see their police budgets slashed. Why else does Abrams continue to support a group that advocates for this?

Democrats backed away from the defund movement for a time, just to salvage their reputation. But don’t be fooled. Abrams is able to afford something she will deny every last one of you. She can dish out $400,000 on security. Can you?

The far left has defunded police departments in nearly every state. And in all those cities, violent crime has exploded. Some of these states have quietly tried to restore police funding. But not all of them.

Why should the people of Georgia gamble with their security by electing Abrams? As soon as she had the chance, she would defund police and move that money into radical causes.

You can bank on it.
