Another American murdered. A woman robbed and sexually assaulted. And once again, the suspects are illegal aliens who never should have been here in the first place.

This isn’t just a story out of Garland, Texas—it’s a national disgrace. According to an arrest affidavit obtained by Fox 4, three illegal migrants—Jose Luis Trivino-Cruz, Jesus De Nazareth Bellorin-Guzman, and Yosguar Aponte Jimenez—are now charged in the brutal murder of 48-year-old Santiago Lopez Morales. Just hours before the fatal shooting, they allegedly stormed into a woman’s motel room, stripped her, robbed her, and sexually assaulted her at gunpoint.

This isn’t an isolated case. It’s the direct result of years of open-border lunacy pushed by the radical left and their media enablers. For decades, Democrats have insisted that illegal immigration is a “humanitarian issue” and that anyone who dares to demand border enforcement must be motivated by hate. Well, tell that to the woman who was assaulted and the man who was left bleeding to death outside a Motel 6.

Let’s be clear—these three men weren’t just in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were career criminals who knew exactly what they were doing. According to police, Jimenez admitted the group had committed over 25 robberies, mostly targeting sex workers because they believed the victims were less likely to go to the police. Trivino-Cruz confessed they had already committed two other robberies earlier that same day. This is not a crime of desperation. This is a pattern of predatory violence.

And yet, the system failed again. These men were in the country illegally. There was no reason they should have been walking free in American communities. No reason this man should be dead. No reason that woman should be traumatized for life. But thanks to the left’s reckless refusal to secure the border and enforce immigration law, here we are.

President Trump has made it crystal clear: the days of “catch and release” and sanctuary city insanity are over. In just the first few months of his second term, we’ve already seen a dramatic increase in deportations and a renewed commitment to rooting out illegal alien criminals. But it’s going to take more than executive action. Congress must step up and pass real immigration reform that prioritizes national security and the rule of law over political correctness.

How many more Americans have to die before this country wakes up?

The media will try to bury this story. They’ll say it’s anecdotal, that it doesn’t represent the broader immigrant population. But stories like this are becoming all too common. From San Francisco to El Paso to small towns in Middle America, illegal aliens with violent histories are slipping through the cracks—because the system is designed to let them in and look the other way.

Joe Biden and his party spent four years pretending the border wasn’t a problem. They rolled back every Trump-era protection they could, demonized ICE, and welcomed caravans with open arms. The blood is on their hands.

Now, under a revived Trump administration, we have a second chance to fix what the Democrats broke. But it won’t be easy. The left will fight tooth and nail to preserve their broken policies. Why? Because to them, open borders mean future voters and permanent political power. To us, it means more grieving families, more shattered communities, and more American lives destroyed.

The Garland Police say this was an “isolated incident.” Maybe. But the pattern is anything but isolated. It’s systemic. And until we get serious about border enforcement, it’s only going to get worse.

This isn’t about race, or nationality, or partisanship. It’s about sovereignty. It’s about safety. It’s about whether the American government exists to protect its citizens—or to coddle foreign criminals at our expense.

We know where President Trump stands. The question is, will Republicans in Congress back him up? Or will they cave to the same media pressure and leftist guilt games that got us into this mess?

Enough is enough. Americans deserve better. Our laws must mean something again. And our borders must finally be defended—with strength, with will, and with zero apologies.
