A stunning China agenda that Joe Biden is pursuing is being revealed by a new revelation that is supported by leaked emails and insider sources. According to Reuters, beleaguered Secretary of State Antony Blinken was really attempting to defend the communists during the Chinese spy balloon scandal that enthralled the country at the beginning of 2023.
“Some American officials believed the purported Chinese spy balloon’s crossing of the country in February would inspire the government to take a number of steps to confront China.”
“Instead, in an effort to minimize harm to the U.S.-China relationship, the U.S. State Department withheld export restrictions, human rights-related penalties, and other delicate measures, according to four people with firsthand knowledge of the U.S. position and emails inside the department seen by Reuters.”
“Rick Waters, the China House policy division’s deputy secretary of state for Taiwan and China, stated in an email to employees on February 6 that hasn’t yet been publicly disclosed: S (Secretary of State) guidance is for us to move non-balloon initiatives to the right so that we are able to concentrate on symmetrical and adjusted response. In a few weeks, we may review different activities.”
“Many measures, according to the sources, have not yet been restored. The decision to delay Huawei’s export license requirements and the penalties imposed on Chinese authorities for their mistreatment of Uyghurs,” they said, “had a negative impact on China House’s morale.”
In other words, Blinken had his lackeys halt significant trade and human rights actions rather than penalizing China for their excessively provocative breach of US airspace as well as sovereignty. This includes previously prepared efforts to penalize Chinese tech firms like Huawei and stop China from committing the Uyghur genocide.
But as I’ve said in the past, it would be incorrect to attribute all of this to simple stupidity. The Biden administration consistently conducts itself as if the Chicoms have paid for them. The Chinese are permitted to rule in all spheres, from COVID to economics. It’s past time for folks to begin inquiring as to why.
