Liberal Media Fail: Latest Racial Hoax Gets Fact-Checked

It seems progressive society has devolved into one giant racial scandal. Well-meaning Americans have been weakened, intoxicated, and brainwashed by histrionic liberals that deem even the slightest racial infraction reason enough to destroy someone’s life.

Highly-publicized racial scandals have almost become an American pastime as race pimp Democrats grow desperate to glom on to a story that will propel their national profile. Just think of Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson — two Democrats eager to accuse anyone and everyone with the holy crime of racism.

A recent “n-word” controversy has taken liberal media by storm — but one quick peak at the evidence and you’ll quickly realize this is all just another progressive racial fantasy.

The controversy started when the godmother of Duke’s only black starter, Rachel Richardson, claimed that a BYU fan called her the N-word every time she served. This controversy predictably blew up, and one fan was banned indefinitely from BYU games.

This story was picked up by professional race-baiters in the media; the names you often see in the headlines. ESPN glommed on to the story and ran with it before hearing all the facts. The increasingly woke sports network even granted Richardson an interview to tell her side of the (fake) story.

CNN’s Brianna Keilar even invited Richardson’s father on to discuss the scandal. He slandered the entire crowd as racist due to the “atmosphere” in the arena. It was picked up uncritically by NPR, ABC, NBC, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.

Meanwhile, there seems to be one little problem with this massive news story…

It’s false.

Bingham Young University (BYU) police reviewed footage of the fan who was blamed for yelling the “n-word” at Richardson and determined that word never left his mouth, nor was it shouted at Richardson. In fact, the fan wasn’t even around at the time when Richardson claimed to be racially attacked.

A BYU student newspaper reached out to several people in the student section, none of whom had heard any slurs. Additionally, not a single person in the crowd that day has come forward with a claim they heard racial slurs being shouted at Richardson. Black members of BYU’s men’s basketball team were also present in the student section, and not one of them claimed to hear any racist language.

This Twitter thread is a MUST READ:

And Richardson’s godmother, who started the whole controversy, locked her Twitter account after people discovered her history of racist tweets directed at white people. She also happens to be running for office in Texas.

This false story is yet another embarrassing example of mainstream media outlets failing to do the proper research required to prove such a damning story. Typical of liberals, these media outlets simply ran with a fairytale knowing it suited their “white man bad” narrative.

For corporate media outlets, the plan is simple: Discredit white, patriotic, Christian Americans until a growing number of Americans see them as enemies, thus justifying any violence done against them.
