Project 2025 has officially become the agenda, according to a prominent MAGA figure, and it’s lighting a fire under the conservative base while making liberals squirm. Despite Trump repeatedly distancing himself from it during the campaign, conservative commentator Matt Walsh put the cards on the table post-election, saying, “Now that the election is over, I think we can finally say that yeah actually Project 2025 is the agenda.” That line’s resonating, racking up over 5.9 million views on X (formerly Twitter). Walsh just said what everyone’s been thinking: Project 2025 is exactly what conservative America wants to see—an overhaul that holds the bloated bureaucracy accountable.
Now that the election is over I think we can finally say that yeah actually Project 2025 is the agenda. Lol

Steve Bannon, who knows a thing or two about cutting through the noise, had a chuckle and a hearty endorsement of Walsh’s statement on his War Room podcast. “Matt Walsh, I think, is a very smart and funny guy,” Bannon quipped, “just put up on Twitter: ‘Now that the election is over, I think we can finally say that yeah actually Project 2025 is the agenda.’ Fabulous. Put that everywhere.” Walsh may not have an official seat on Team Trump, but he’s right there in the trenches, rallying millions.
Let’s be clear: Project 2025, crafted by The Heritage Foundation, is a 900-page manifesto laying out a clear, bold conservative vision for the federal government. And yes, it’s ruffled plenty of liberal feathers along the way. It offers serious ideas to reform federal agencies, strengthen executive authority, and actually hold government employees accountable—none of which sounds unreasonable to anyone fed up with bureaucratic overreach.
Democrats have tried their hardest to scare voters with tales of this project, calling it everything from “a threat to democracy” to “the end of the rule of law.” They were quick to play up any connection between Trump and Project 2025, ignoring the fact that Trump himself had called some parts of it “absolutely ridiculous” and distanced himself from it during the campaign. But since when have facts stopped the Democrats from running with a narrative?
Kevin Roberts, president of The Heritage Foundation, had no problem publicly celebrating Trump’s win, calling it “a historic and hard-fought victory.” And he’s right—Trump’s win was nothing short of remarkable, overcoming everything from sham indictments to media assassinations. Trump’s second coming is here, and with a Republican majority in the Senate, he’s got the means to reshape America the way his supporters have always wanted.
Project 2025’s ideas on issues like abortion, immigration, and reining in the federal bureaucracy are exactly what conservatives have been waiting for. The left’s attempts to demonize it only confirm that these are the kinds of bold moves they’re afraid of. With Trump back at the helm, Americans can look forward to policies that will restore order, secure borders, and bring power back to the people. As for the Democrats? They’re going to have to come up with something better than fear-mongering and Twitter rants.
