Parents Just Blew the Lid Off Radical Leftists’ Gender Nonsense

A bipartisan poll out of California just blew the lid off the radical left’s gender games—and sent a warning shot to Governor Gavin Newsom and the Democrat supermajority still trying to force boys into girls’ locker rooms.

More than 70% of California parents of public school students say biological males should NOT be allowed to compete in girls’ or women’s sports. Let that sink in. Even in deep-blue California, parents are rising up—and the tide is turning.

The numbers come from the Public Policy Institute of California, hardly a bastion of right-wing thought. According to their survey, conducted in late March and early April, 65% of all adults in California agree that sports teams should be based on biological sex—not gender ideology. Even 49% of Democrats said “no” to this madness, while a whopping 71% of independents took the same common-sense stand. It’s a clear rebuke of woke orthodoxy—and a rare moment of unity among voters tired of watching biological girls sidelined.

But instead of listening to science, sanity, or the voters, California Democrats recently blocked a bill that would have required the California Interscholastic Federation to ban biological boys from competing in girls’ sports. That bill was backed by parents across the state—but shut down by a legislature owned by radical activists.

This isn’t about inclusion. It’s about erasure. Erasing Title IX. Erasing fairness. Erasing the very concept of women’s sports. And parents have had enough.

Even Gavin Newsom couldn’t deny the truth. Just over a month ago, the California governor called the idea of males in girls’ sports “deeply unfair.” But as usual, Newsom talks tough and then folds to the activist mob. And now, President Donald J. Trump has had to step in and do what Newsom won’t: protect our daughters.

Trump’s executive order, signed February 5, puts it plainly: “Keep men out of women’s sports.” Under the order, any school that allows biological males to compete in girls’ divisions is at risk of losing federal funding. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon followed up with a pointed letter to Newsom: comply—or lose your taxpayer cash.

“Allowing participation in sex-separated activities based on ‘gender identity’ places schools at risk of Title IX violations and loss of federal funding,” McMahon warned. “As governor, you have a duty to inform California school districts of this risk.”

In other words: the gravy train stops here. Trump is drawing a red line for every radical governor who thinks it’s okay to cheat girls out of medals, scholarships, and safety in the name of social engineering.

Parents in California, of all places, are making it clear: this isn’t about politics—it’s about protecting their kids. The far-left experiment in gender madness is collapsing under the weight of its own insanity. And thanks to President Trump, America finally has a leader willing to fight back.

This is why he was elected. This is why the polls are shifting. Because when the dust settles, voters know who’s fighting for their children—and who’s selling them out to the cult of woke.
