A key member of President Trump’s America First team is leading the pack in a political world where most politicians can’t even crack the 40% approval mark. Rubio is showing that standing firm for American values still matters to the people.

It’s no secret that trust in politicians has dropped. People are tired of broken promises, endless spending, and weak leadership. But Marco Rubio isn’t like the rest. He’s been serving as both Secretary of State and National Security Advisor under President Trump, and he’s doing the job with strength, clarity, and commitment to America’s interests above all else.

According to Gallup, Rubio has a 41% approval rating — the highest of any politician surveyed. Only Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell scores slightly higher at 44%, but Powell isn’t even a politician. That makes Rubio the most respected elected official in the country today. And while 41% isn’t a sky-high number, in today’s divided political environment, it shows strong leadership that crosses party lines.

Let’s be honest — most of Washington is a mess. Gallup’s numbers prove it. Not a single political leader has majority approval. Senate leaders like John Thune (34%) and Chuck Schumer (28%) can’t even get their own parties to rally behind them. That’s because Americans are fed up with do-nothings and sellouts who care more about their next appearance on cable news than about defending the Constitution or putting Americans first.

But Rubio has done something different. He’s worked under President Trump to bring back strength to American diplomacy. He stands up to China. He calls out weak globalist policies. And he puts American workers and families at the center of every foreign policy decision. That’s leadership — and it’s exactly why people respect him.

It’s also worth noting that Rubio came close to being Trump’s running mate in 2024. He ended up serving in a powerful Cabinet position instead, but he’s still clearly one of the most trusted and visible figures in the administration. And given his popularity, it’s no surprise that many are already talking about him as a top contender for the presidency in 2028.

Now, here’s where Rubio really shows his character. Even though he’s a strong candidate on his own, he recently said he would step aside in 2028 if Vice President JD Vance decides to run. That’s a powerful show of unity and humility. Rubio is not in this for himself. He’s in it for the country. And that’s the kind of team-first, America First attitude that we need more of in Washington.

Of course, Democrats aren’t doing so well in this poll. House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Leader Chuck Schumer are deep underwater. They’ve abandoned working-class Americans, opened the border, and pushed radical policies that hurt families and destroy freedom.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration continues to deliver. With Rubio, Vance, and other strong conservative leaders like Speaker Mike Johnson and Attorney General Pam Bondi, this administration is restoring faith in government by actually doing the job — protecting our rights, defending our borders, and standing up for the American way of life.

So while the media tries to paint a picture of division and despair, the truth is that real leadership is shining through. Marco Rubio is proof of that. He’s not perfect. No man is. But he’s standing tall when others are falling short. And in these trying times, that’s exactly what America needs.
