Trump Sounds Battle Cry as Leftists’ War on Energy Cripples America

Americans are feeling the financial squeeze as electricity prices skyrocket nationwide, adding to the pain of rising gas and grocery costs. Just weeks into his second term, President Donald Trump faces yet another economic challenge—a mess left behind by Biden’s reckless energy policies.

Trump’s Plan to Slash Prices Faces Leftist Roadblocks

During the 2024 campaign, Trump made a bold promise: cut energy costs in half within 12 to 18 months. His strategy? Unleash American energy dominance, ramp up domestic production, tear down Biden’s radical green energy mandates, and bring back the days of cheap, reliable power.

But the globalist energy cartel, climate activists, and left-wing bureaucrats are already working overtime to block Trump’s America First energy agenda. The same “experts” who claimed inflation was “transitory” are now insisting Trump’s plan is impossible. They argue that eliminating renewables and drilling for more oil won’t immediately lower electricity prices. What they won’t admit? Biden’s war on fossil fuels, skyrocketing regulations, and failed renewables push are the reason Americans are struggling to pay their power bills in the first place.

Americans Are Paying the Price for Biden’s Energy Disaster

Electricity prices haven’t been this high since the 1990s, according to the conservative American Enterprise Institute. A new report shows that the average electric rate in the U.S. hit 16.54 cents per kWh in February, with some states suffering far worse. Hawaii tops the list at a brutal 42.10 cents per kWh, forcing residents to shell out an average of $378 per month just to keep the lights on. Meanwhile, Louisiana has the cheapest rate at 11.23 cents per kWh.

Why are bills rising? Research from the Bank of America Institute reveals that Americans are being forced to use more electricity due to increased energy demands. Residential electricity consumption jumped 2.7% last year, while natural gas use fell 4.3%, thanks to environmental restrictions that make reliable energy harder to access. The result? Families are forced to fork over more of their hard-earned money just to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Biden’s Green New Scam Must Be Stopped

This crisis was avoidable. Under President Trump, America was energy independent, with low gas prices and affordable utilities. Biden flipped the switch and put Americans last, shackling the U.S. economy to unreliable wind and solar schemes while driving up costs for working families.

But Trump isn’t backing down. With his administration laser-focused on drilling, deregulation, and energy dominance, relief could be on the horizon. The only question is whether Congress will stand with him or cave to the radical climate lobby.
