President Trump is putting America first again, and the results are clear in Pittsburgh. Since returning to the White House, Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has tripled the number of illegal aliens arrested in the Pittsburgh area. In just this year alone, ICE has taken about 580 illegal immigrants into custody—compared to only 210 in the same time under Joe Biden’s open-borders disaster.

This is what real leadership looks like. Under Biden, the border was wide open. Lawbreakers flooded into our cities, took jobs from Americans, and overwhelmed our communities. But now, thanks to Trump’s bold action, ICE is back in business and doing the job it was meant to do—protecting American citizens.

Let’s be clear: Pittsburgh is not exactly friendly territory for law enforcement. The city hasn’t had a Republican mayor since 1934. Its liberal leaders refuse to let local police help ICE agents, even though immigration law is federal and the Constitution makes it clear that federal law is the supreme law of the land. But even without help from the left-wing city government, ICE is getting the job done. That’s because eight other law enforcement agencies in the region have signed what’s called 287(g) agreements. These agreements allow local officers to work with ICE and help round up illegal immigrants. That’s teamwork—and that’s what it takes to restore law and order.

According to estimates, there are now around 300,000 illegal aliens living in Pennsylvania. That’s right—300,000 people living in our state who broke the law to get here. That’s more than the population of Pittsburgh itself. And while Biden sat back and let this invasion happen, Trump is cleaning up the mess.

Of course, the left-wing activist crowd is throwing a fit. They’re angry that ICE dared to do its job and enforce the law. After a recent raid on a restaurant called Emiliano’s, activists accused ICE of causing chaos—and even blamed them for a small fire in the kitchen. But ICE made it clear: it wasn’t the agents who started the fire. It was the illegal aliens themselves, trying to flee from justice. Once again, the truth shows that the lawbreakers are the ones causing harm, not the law enforcers.

Some business owners are also complaining. They say they can’t find workers because so many illegals are being arrested or are afraid to show up to work. Let’s call this what it is: these businesses are upset because they can’t exploit cheap labor anymore. They don’t want to pay fair wages to American workers. They’d rather hire illegal immigrants to work for less and skip out on paying benefits. That’s not fair to American citizens—and it’s not how we build a strong economy.

President Trump is putting American workers first. He’s protecting jobs for citizens and making sure that people who come to this country follow the law. That’s not cruel or extreme—it’s basic common sense.

For too long, the left treated our borders like a joke. They let millions of illegal aliens pour into our country, take advantage of our system, and put American families at risk. Trump is reversing that damage. He’s restoring the rule of law, defending our communities, and sending a clear message: if you break into this country illegally, you will be found, arrested, and deported.

We are a nation of laws. Without borders, we have no country. The American people voted for strong borders and safe communities, and they’re getting exactly that under President Trump’s leadership. ICE is back. Law and order is back. And America is back.
