Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is going south — not for vacation, but for battle. And the message from President Trump’s administration couldn’t be clearer: If you’re a criminal alien thinking about sneaking into the U.S., don’t even think about it.
Next week, Noem will touch down in El Salvador, Colombia, and Mexico — and it’s not for diplomatic niceties. This is a high-octane mission to reinforce America’s renewed border crackdown, expose the criminal networks behind mass migration, and show the world that under Trump’s second term, the gloves are off.
First stop: El Salvador’s Terrorism Confinement Center. Yes, the same prison where last week’s viral footage showed MS-13 thugs — heads down, arms behind backs, herded like cattle by heavily armed Salvadoran forces. That’s what justice looks like. And it’s what the Trump-Noem team is bringing back to American immigration policy.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital the trip “underscores the importance of our partner countries to help remove violent criminal illegal aliens from the United States.” Translation? We’re deporting the scum Joe Biden invited in — and we’re doing it with allies who aren’t afraid to back us up.
A senior administration official confirmed that 261 illegal aliens were sent back to El Salvador on March 15 — including MS-13 gang leaders and hardened criminals with charges ranging from child sex abuse to attempted murder of police officers. Most were booted under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. That’s right — a law that’s been around longer than most of the Left’s talking points.
Trump took to Truth Social to thank El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele for taking these monsters back. “How dare they!” Trump wrote, calling out Biden and the Democrats for allowing these predators into the country in the first place.
Bukele, for his part, welcomed the partnership: “We are helping our allies… obtaining vital intelligence… and making our country an even safer place.” That’s what strong leadership looks like — not the limp-wristed nonsense that’s plagued D.C. for the past four years.
Noem’s tour continues in Colombia, where she’ll meet with President Gustavo Petro and top anti-cartel police. She’ll wrap in Mexico with President Claudia Sheinbaum. That’s a power play — sending a strong woman, a border warrior, to make it clear: the days of catch-and-release are over.
Under Trump and Noem, the United States is reclaiming its borders, expelling gangsters, and making it clear that the world’s worst are no longer welcome to roam free on American soil.
If Biden’s America was a welcome mat for MS-13, Trump’s America is a steel gate — backed by barbed wire, a flight manifest, and a one-way ticket out.
