At a rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, on Saturday, former President Donald Trump demanded that President Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) “return” funds from “antisemites” who supported the demonstrations on college campuses.
Trump told the assembled audience, “Return the funds” that the Democratic Party and Biden had gotten from “antisemites” who had been financially supporting the anti-Israel rallies that had taken place on college and university campuses around the country in recent weeks.
“Tonight, I am formally requesting that Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee reimburse any payments made by antisemites, individuals who despise America, and those who finance havoc on our universities,” declared Trump. “Joe, give back the money.”
The NGO Monitor and other groups’ research revealed that well-known names from donation lists for Biden and the DNC were behind the demonstrations and encampments’ funding.
Among the organizations found to be funding the groups organizing the pro-Palestinian demonstrations on college campuses were the Tides Center, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the Open Society Foundations of George Soros, and the Westchester Peace Action Committee Foundation.
“They made a lot of money,” Trump said. “We will not tolerate violent extremists taking over our institutions when I am president, and we will deport anyone who comes to our schools from outside and tries to spread jihadism, anti-Americanism, or antisemitism. You are not going to that school.
The civil rights violations and antisemitic incidents that resulted from the demonstrations against Jewish students and other campus participants that resulted from the demonstrations have not yet been the subject of an investigation by Biden’s Department of Justice.
Trump said that he supports Israel in its efforts to drive out Hamas terrorists from the Gaza Strip during the rally on Saturday. His remarks followed Biden’s declaration in a CNN interview that if Israel attempted to attack Rafah, Hamas’ final bastion, he would withhold artillery and weaponry.
