Biden’s Biggest Threat Might Not Be Trump

Biden’s Biggest Threat Might Not Be Trump
Joe Biden is vulnerable.

This doesn’t really come as a surprise. So far, the polling results that we have seen suggest that Biden’s best bet for 2024 is to run against Donald Trump. Trump is currently tied with Biden according to the polls, perhaps even ahead of the current president, but within most survey error ranges. To say it again, that’s Biden’s ideal situation.

There is still the issues of the possibility that inflation will worsen, if Biden will continue to suffocate us with energy expenses, whether he’ll ever give any thought to the border, and whether Republicans will be able to persuade voters through impeachment probe hearings that he is totally corrupt. That’s a lot for him to deal with, and that’s just in his own country. He is additionally attempting to keep support for protecting Ukraine while acting tough on China, which isn’t working.

Biden ran for office in 2020 as the “Great Unifier.” When he came in, he praised trans ideology and climate change, even though he had just criticized Trump for being mean and causing division. He didn’t try to bring people together; instead, he believed the stupid “Dark Brandon” idea and attacked Republicans and their supporters. He didn’t fix what he said Trump broke; instead, he broke the things Trump fixed.

So it makes sense that his poll numbers aren’t moving and that people who are close to him think that third-party groups are a major threat.

“According to a new national poll from NBC News, Biden and former President Trump, who is currently leading the GOP nomination race, are tied at 46%. But when other candidates are taken into account, Trump has a 39% to 36% lead over Biden.”

“More than six people who regularly talk to the White House say that the third-party candidates have become the biggest worry inside Biden’s circle. This includes academic Cornel West, a spokesperson for the group “No Labels,” and candidates from the more prominent Green and Libertarian parties.”

It looks like Hillary Clinton told Biden to pay attention to the third-party stuff because she was worried so much about it. It’s important to note that a lot of people on Team Hillary think that third-party contenders like Jill Stein stole Democratic votes and cost her the election. That might have made a difference, but the Clinton team focused on getting people to vote in cities and ignored the “flyover” states. They also thought they could get young people to actually vote, so it isn’t clear how useful her advice was.
