‘Defund The Police’ City Is Finally Facing The Music

They say you get what you pay for. You also get what you vote for. In blue cities and states across America, they are reaping years of voting based on identity politics and social justice. Because so many liberal voters cast their ballots based on emotions, not facts, they have elected people who can’t run, don’t know how to lead, and produce only failure.

We’re seeing that right now in the White House. But it’s been going on for a long time in super-liberal regions of the country, including San Francisco.

Incompetent and corrupt Democrat leadership spent much of last year destroying their police departments. Now, because of a world-record amount of incompetence, these same leaders are pushing cops out of the force over vaccine mandates. I guess they won’t stop until they are no cops left in major cities. The result, as you can expect, is out-of-control crime.

It’s getting so bad in hyper-leftist San Francisco, that people have no choice but to pay for protection.

At least 150 residents in San Francisco’s Marina District have hired private security as crimes in the area have caused significant concerns among community members.

“We don’t feel safe in our neighborhood,” Marina resident Katie Lyons told CBS SF. “And we have an alarm, we have cameras on our property, but we want the extra security of having someone have eyes on our place.”…

Lyons says that she has to take special precautions when traveling in her community. “Especially at night, I don’t walk with a purse, I’ll drive, or I’ll take an Uber, and it’s beginning to become a daytime problem too,” she told CBS SF. [Source: Breitbart]

Crime is so bad in San Francisco, because their radical DA refuses to prosecute most crimes. Shoplifting and car burglaries go unpunished, emboldening criminals to take greater risks. Add to that a reduction in the police force, an influx of homeless, and exploding illegal immigration, you have a situation that is out of control.

Residents are forced to pay for security to monitor their homes. They can’t even leave their homes out night, for fear of being mugged. Why is this happening in America? How can any city in this country let things get so bad?

I’ll tell you why. It’s because far-left Democrats want to let it get this bad. The worse things get, the easier it is for them to push their socialist agenda. As the economy plummets, jobs evaporate, and crime rises, Democrats will have an easier time convincing people to support their socialist takeover of our economy and society.

Leftists allow crime to rise, claiming they are supporting the “rights” of criminals, illegals, and homeless. They attack cops, so stupid liberals will support policies that directly harm their cities. But we’re seeing the end results. Democrats will never get the socialist utopia they are craving. All they will do is ruin once proud cities, as more people flee to greener pastures.

After all, how long are people going to pay for security, before they are finally fed up?
