The site reports that Fetterman’s advisors advised Harris’ team that the U.S. senator believes Shapiro is unduly focused on his own goals. “His misgivings about Shapiro are a reflection of the long-standing struggle between the two aspirational Democrats in a state that is vital to politics.”

This weekend, Harris is interviewing potential candidates. She also has a Tuesday event in Philadelphia with her running companion.”

According to reports, Harris may make her announcement as soon as Monday, and she and her running companion will make an appearance at a Philadelphia rally on Tuesday. Josh Shapiro was purportedly Kamala Harris’s choice for a running mate in a video that Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L. Parker posted on social media last week. However, some speculated that this was perhaps a ploy to get Harris to choose Shapiro, or possibly a trial balloon.
