The media is making every effort to entirely overlook the true problem, which is illegal immigration, in the wake of the murder of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley by an immigrant.

But senior editor Daniel Horowitz of Blaze News has the actual numbers, and he warns that Nicolás Maduro, the tyrant of Venezuela, is effectively emptying his prisons and shipping the criminals to the United States.

A large number of them are criminals and members of the violent Tren de Aragua gang.

“It’s not his fault. Horowitz tells Glenn Beck, “He believed he’d get rid of his troubles, knowing that our door was open.”

Horowitz has learned from talking to reporters and agents at the Darién Gap in Panama that nobody has ever seen so many young males crossing the border with tattoos.

I’ve heard that there is a higher concentration of criminal elements among Venezuelans, and this isn’t accidental. “This is a coordinated attempt on Maduro’s side to bring his jail gangs up here,” he says, explaining that it is not natural selection that leads to a lot of thugs crossing borders since that is what many of them do.

According to the statistics, ICE illegal aliens account for 2,000 of the 14,000 homicide arrests that occur in a given year.

Horowitz tells Glenn, “Some of them are lawful, but, you know, criminal aspects that are deportable,” adding that this was true even before Biden took office.

According to Horowitz, 335,000 Venezuelans entered the nation in 2023. “Right now, you have all these Venezuelans coming in, committing crimes, usually three or four offenses, and they are freed every time.”

Glenn remarks, “This is a chaotic operation,” sounding alarmed.
