At the start of the COVID panic, state governments took steps to ensure Americans suffered insult to injury. Even as millions of Americans scrambled to make sense of a virus being hyped up by the media, the states shut down our economies, forcing many out of work. Under Trump, we quickly saw things recovering over the Summer of 2020. But all that progress came to a halt when Biden took over.

Our economic recovery has been hampered by a wasteful government “stimulus,” backward policy, and other decisions by Biden that have sabotaged us. Supply chain backlogs, workers refusing to go back to work, inflation, and rising fuel costs all contributed to a weak jobs market. On top of that Biden sparked a mass exodus from work thanks to his mandates. Employees quit good jobs before they could get fired.

But some states have improved. According to one report, four have returned to pre-pandemic levels of employment. Guess which ones they are?

Four states — Texas, Arizona, Idaho, and Utah — have seen full recovery in their labor markets following COVID-19 and the lockdown-induced recession…

If you live in one of these four states, Texas, Arizona, Idaho, and Utah, congratulations. Things probably feel like they are back to normal. Probably have been for a while. Not only have these states dropped severe COVID restrictions, but they now have returned to the employment levels from before the crisis. That means, people are getting back to work, goods and services are readily available, and institutions like schools and churches are in full swing.

What do all these states have in common? Republican leadership. Meanwhile, according to the report coastal states, including California and the Northeast, are far behind. Gee, I wonder why that is?

Republican states like Texas were quick to ditch strict measures to “control” the virus and resorted to a policy that allowed individuals to make the best decisions for keeping safe. They understood that no amount of lockdowns or mandates would erase a disease that would come and go seasonally. These are also pro-business states with low taxes, another factor in helping companies get back to work after the pandemic.

What’s even more amazing is that some of these states, particularly Texas and Arizona, saw massive spikes in population growth over the last few years. Americans are fleeing places like Chicago, California, and New York to relocate to free red states. Even with a boom in numbers, these states have been able to supply jobs to all who want them.

Meanwhile, Democrats in blue states, drunk on the power their emergency declarations gave them, have refused to return to normal. They keep pointing at the virus as an excuse to clamp down on constitutionally-mandated liberties. Is it any wonder why they are still stuck in an artificially-created recession?

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out.
