During her time as a guest on “The View,” former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suggested that current Vice President Joe Biden would be the most qualified candidate to challenge former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
Alyssa Farah Griffin had posed the question to Clinton, who had been defeated by Trump in the race for the presidency in 2016, as to whether or not Biden is “the best person to take him [Trump] on.”
Clinton responded, “Yes, he is,” to the question. “And he’s done a really good job as president.”
Sunny Hostin posed the question to Hillary Clinton about what she feels would occur if Trump were to win the election for a second time, and Clinton said that she believes it would signal “the end of our country as we know it.”
A second term in office would bring Vice President Biden’s age up to 86 years old, making him the oldest president in the annals of United States history.
Biden appears to be in a position to easily secure the Democratic nomination for president, despite the fact that Marianne Williamson and Rep. Dean Phillips are also competing in the Democratic presidential primary. It is likely that Trump will receive the nomination for president of the Republican Party.
“I didn’t plan on competing in this race at all. But if we continue along this path, it appears that the Democrats will be unsuccessful, and Donald Trump will become our President once more,” Phillips has hypothesized. “If Biden is the Dem nominee, we face an unacceptable risk of Donald Trump getting back into the White House.”
Trump will not be present at the third Republican primary debate, which will take place on Wednesday night in Miami, Florida. Instead, he will be speaking at a rally in Hialeah, which is also located in the state of Florida. The debate will feature five candidates for the presidential nomination of the Republican Party.
