Homeowners Targeted In Biden’s America

Homeowners Targeted In Biden’s America

A confrontation with squatters who had been living in her house covertly resulted in the arrest of a homeowner in New York City.

According to surfacing reports, Adele Andaloro, 47, was taken into custody following the installation of new locks on a $1 million property in Queens, which she got from her parents. Squatters were covertly occupying the house.

The homeowner described the squatter situation as “enraging.” “It’s unfair that I have to deal with this as the homeowner.”

Andaloro claims that when she saw squatters inside the house, the entire drama started. When she started the process of attempting to sell the enormous property last month, she engaged locksmiths to change the locks on the front and back doors right away.

Andaloro got into a fight with the squatters, and shortly after, the police came and took him away in handcuffs.

Because of the state’s lax regulations, an individual can claim “squatter’s rights” in New York City even after just 30 days of residency. It is against the law for the homeowner to remove the items of the “tenants” who have taken over the property, change the locks, or switch off the utilities.

Andaloro remarked, “This man will still be in my home by the time someone conducts their investigation, their work, and their job, which will be over 30 days.” “I truly worry that these individuals will get away with robbing me of my house.”

The most recent encounter saw Andaloro walking inside the residence after she saw on video that one of the squatters had left the front door unlocked.

After the locks were changed, a guy posing as the tenant—who local media identified as “Brian Rodriguez”—returned to the residence and smashed through the front door.

During the incident that was captured on tape, Andaloro angrily shouted at him, “You shouldn’t be attempting to take my house.”

But the responding authorities informed Andaloro that the matter was a “landlord-tenant issue” and she would have to resolve it in housing court. Andaloro eventually found herself in jail for “unlawful eviction” because she had changed the locks.

In addition to her detention, Andaloro claimed she is under pressure to file for a judicial eviction in order to settle the landlord-tenant dispute.
