President-elect Donald Trump is not wasting any time. Early Monday morning, he confirmed on Truth Social that his administration will declare a national emergency to deploy military resources for a mass deportation of illegal immigrants. Trump’s straightforward response to a post by Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton left no room for ambiguity.
“GOOD NEWS: Reports are the incoming @RealDonaldTrump administration prepared to declare a national emergency and will use military assets to reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program,” Fitton wrote. Trump’s response? A simple but emphatic “TRUE!!”
This plan is straight out of the Trump playbook, delivering on a campaign promise that resonated with his base. Unlike the Democrats, who seem more interested in pandering to special interests than protecting American citizens, Trump is proving once again that he means business. The Washington Examiner noted Trump’s pledge to deport more illegal immigrants than any of his predecessors—a bold move designed to restore order and protect the nation’s sovereignty.
To spearhead this effort, Trump has tapped Tom Homan, former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as his administration’s “border czar.” Homan has made it clear that public safety and national security threats will take priority. “President Trump’s been clear; public safety threats and national security threats will be the priority because they have to be. They pose the most danger to this country,” Homan said.
Homan has outlined the plan: focus on the estimated 1.3 million illegal immigrants who have already defied court orders to leave. These aren’t individuals stuck in bureaucratic limbo—they had their day in court, and the law was crystal clear. “We’re going to prioritize those groups, those who already have final orders, those that had due process at great taxpayer expense, and the federal judge says you must go home. And that didn’t. They became a fugitive,” Homan said.
Critics, of course, are already up in arms. But as Homan pointed out, enforcing the law isn’t optional. “If we’re not [deporting them], what the hell are we doing?” Homan asked on Fox & Friends. That’s the kind of plain talk Americans have been craving after four years of the Biden administration’s failure to secure the border.
Democrats will undoubtedly cry foul, but this isn’t about playing nice; it’s about restoring order. While liberals virtue-signal about “inclusion” and “tolerance,” Trump is taking the necessary steps to secure our borders and protect American communities. This mass deportation plan, backed by military resources, is a testament to Trump’s commitment to putting America first—a concept Democrats apparently have trouble grasping.
