Donald Trump is brilliant at toying with the media, playing coy, and leaving people in suspense. Not one to give away pertinent details, but equally as willing to boast about his accomplishments the Former President has only dropped small hints as to whether we can expect another White House run.

However, during a town hall meeting with Fox News icon Sean Hannity, it seems Trump has made his final decision about whether he will run again in 2024.
With his media genius, Trump created a tidal wave of speculation after giving a one word answer to Hannity’s question about a 2024 run.
When asked if Trump has made a decision on 2024, the Former President said succinctly, “Yes.”

His laconic response set off a roaring applause from the audience attending the town hall meeting. Mr. Trump shared the stage with Republican Governor of Texas Greg Abbott to discuss their findings after viewing the border crime scene the Biden administration has enacted.

Prior to the town hall, Trump had cleverly dodged any commitment or guarantee that he will be running 2024. A recent report suggested that a Trump insider revealed he would “definitely become the next president if my heath remained stable.”
Mark Meadows, Trump’s former White House chief of staff, previously told reporters that the 45th president would indeed run again but that he likely wouldn’t make an announcement in the near future.
Meadows guaranteed that many conservative presidential hopefuls will likely clear the field were the Former President to run again in 2024. Former Vice President Mike Pence, Gov. Ron DeSantis, Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, and Gov. Kristi Noem hav all indicated they would step aside were Trump to run. This clears a path for the Former President, making his sole target his Democratic opponent, which will likely be Kamala Harris if Biden continues his mental decline.
“Ron DeSantis would be the first to say that if President Trump gets in, that he would win the nomination and would clear the field, and so I don’t ever see it being a 2016 primary scenario.”
It’s worth noting that Meadows’s comments came just days before DeSantis edged out Trump in the 2021 Western Conservative Summit’s presidential straw poll.
