A bombshell report hit the country recently, one that many on the left tried to ignore. We learned that the FBI deliberately suppressed an investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2020. The agency literally stopped agents from investigating it, purposefully to prevent influencing the election.
We also learned the FBI leaned on Facebook, claiming that the Hunter news was “disinformation.” Facebook was convinced to censor these stories, based on what the FBI told them. On top of that, whistleblowers told Republican lawmakers that one man, Timothy Thibault, was behind these schemes.
And now, that man is out.

Thibault, an assistant special agent in charge and 25-year veteran of the bureau, was forced to resign, the sources said. He had been on leave for at least a month following allegations of allowing political bias to influence his work. [Source: Daily Wire]
The FBI is trying to spin the news, claiming this is a normal, age-related retirement. But reports indicate he was forced to resign and was even escorted from FBI offices.
We know that top brass within the FBI shut down a probe into Hunter Biden. Thibault’s interference prevented the agency from properly examining what Hunter (and his dad) were doing, all so that it wouldn’t hurt Biden’s election chances.
Donald Trump celebrated this news, acknowledging the obvious fact that this supports his claims about the 2020 Election. He went on to ask if this bombshell will mean the “Fake Witch Hunter” against him will end.
Not likely. This undermines the FBI’s reputation, big time. But Democrats are too obsessed with slandering Trump to shut this case down.
But it does raise an important question. We know now that Thibault interfered with an investigation over politics (the very thing Democrats often accuse Trump of). That should amount to obstruction of justice, right?
Thibault wrongly shut down an investigation and even hid information from Wray and Garland. Shouldn’t he face more than just forced retirement? Should this guy be brought up on charges?
Perhaps, but only if more pressure is applied to the FBI.
