FBI Responds To Threats Against Biden Far Different Than Trump

During a raid on his residence this week, the FBI shot and killed a man from Utah who was allegedly making murder threats against President Biden.

According to a criminal report, 75-year-old Craig Deleeuw Robertson has been charged with a total of three counts of making threats toward the president, federal law enforcement agents, and other states, as well as influencing, hindering, and retaliating against them.

Only a few days before his anticipated visit to Utah, Robertson reportedly threatened Biden this past week.

According to one of his recent Facebook postings “PERHAPS UTAH IS GOING TO BE FAMOUS THIS WEEK AS THE LOCATION WHERE A SNIPER TOOK DOWN BIDEN THE MARXIST.”

“I’ve heard that Biden will visit Utah.” Robertson allegedly posted, “I’m cleaning the buildup of dust from the M24 sniper rifle and also digging out an old ghillie outfit.”

Additionally, according to reports, Robertson shared countless images online of the weapons he stored in a gun stash inside his home.

When the FBI went to issue arrest and search warrants at Robertson’s Provo, Utah, residence after determining that these threats were “credible,” they instead shot and killed him at roughly 6:15 a.m. local time.

A few hours following the shooting, Biden was scheduled to land in Salt Lake City, Utah, an hour’s drive from the Provo home.

In late March, two FBI operatives secretly watched Robertson’s house after he reportedly threatened Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.

Days prior to Bragg’s indictment of Trump on 34 charges of falsifying company documents, Robertson reportedly stated, “I’ll be standing by in the courthouse parking facility with my silenced Smith &Wesson M&P 9mm to kill a radical idiot prosecutor who shouldn’t have gotten elected.”

According to the charge documents, when the FBI agents reached out to Robertson in March, he justified his post by saying it “was a dream,” and he instructed them to return with a warrant.

“Hey FBI, are you still keeping an eye on my social media?” Robertson reportedly wrote on Facebook this week, “checking so I Will Be Certain That I Have A Loaded Weapon Handy In the case You Swing By Again.”

According to sources, the FBI started its probe in April, and the U.S. Secret Service learned about it in June.

The FBI’s Inspection Division is looking into the incident, the Bureau said this week.

The FBI issued a statement saying, “The FBI considers all cases of shootings that involve the agents of the FBI or members of our task force seriously. The shooting that occurred is being investigated by the FBI’s Inspection Division in line with FBI procedure. We have no more information to share because this is a developing situation.”

According to a Secret Service official, the FBI is looking into “an individual in Utah who has threatened a Secret Service protectee.”
