Americans Murdered – MS 13 Rampage Goes Unchallenged

The tragic story of Kayla Hamilton, a 20-year-old autistic girl from Virginia, brutally raped and murdered by an illegal alien and MS-13 gang member, has sparked a major lawsuit against the Biden administration. Tammy Nobles, Kayla’s grieving mother, is suing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for $100 million, alleging that their failure to enforce border policies and vet the suspect led to her daughter’s death.

Kayla Hamilton was found murdered in Maryland in 2022, a year into President Joe Biden’s tenure. The suspect, a 17-year-old from El Salvador illegally residing in the U.S. since March 2022, was later arrested and charged with the crime. His DNA matched evidence from the crime scene, and he faces 11 charges, including first- and second-degree murder, rape, and assault.

During a House Committee on Homeland Security hearing, Tammy Nobles emotionally recounted the horrific details of her daughter’s murder and criticized the Biden administration’s border policies. She highlighted the failure of DHS employees to perform a thorough background check on the suspect, including checking for gang-related tattoos and contacting El Salvadoran authorities to verify his gang affiliation. Nobles also pointed out DHHS’s negligence in allowing the suspect to live unsupervised in the community.

The lawsuit filed by attorney Brian Claypool claims the U.S. Government owed a special duty to Kayla Hamilton due to the known criminal background of the suspect. It alleges that had DHS and DHHS followed their policies, the suspect would have been detained in a secure facility rather than being released into the community, where he ultimately encountered and murdered Kayla.

This case underscores the broader issue of border security and the influx of illegal immigrants into the U.S. Over the past few years, hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied minors and millions of illegal aliens have entered the country. Among those apprehended in fiscal year 2023, there were hundreds with criminal convictions, including sexual offenses, murder, assault, drunk driving, drug charges, and theft.

Kayla Hamilton’s tragic story and the lawsuit filed by her mother bring to light the human cost of failed border policies and the urgent need for accountability and reform in immigration and border control practices.
