How Much Is Biden Helping Illegals? New Details Reveal All

How Much Is Biden Helping Illegals? New Details Reveal All

The government of President Joe Biden is expanding the US labor market by bringing in millions of foreign workers for firms to hire, leaving unemployed Americans out in the cold.

The Biden administration is helping companies by bringing millions of foreign employees into the labor field, guaranteeing that wages remain static, even while native-born Americans struggle to find employment following the Chinese coronavirus outbreak, according to data published in the New York Times.

The Times notes that “Labor Department numbers indicate the foreign-born workforce rose considerably faster than the U.S.-born workforce.”

According to Torsten Slok, chief economist at Apollo Global Management, “you would typically anticipate wage inflation to go up as the unemployment rate goes down, but that’s not what’s occurring. Therefore, there must be something else influencing the labor market, and it is extremely possible that immigrants are entering the country and assuming employment.”

“But there remain bottlenecks despite the rebound in the foreign-born labor population, of which, according to one estimate, around four-fifths are people with legal authorization to work in the United States.”

The Biden administration is neglecting attempts to reintegrate Americans of native birth into the workforce in favor of expanding the pool of foreign workers available for employment. For the nation’s working and lower middle classes searching for well-paying employment with generous benefits packages, the administration’s inclusion of foreign competitors in the labor market has a significant impact.

The Times recently described how American working-class males between the ages of 35 and 44 are now experiencing the most difficulty entering the job force:

“During the epidemic, hundreds of thousands of men in their late 30s and early 40s quit working, and they have been unemployed ever since. While Mr. Rizzo has lately started working again, many men of his age appear to be completely avoiding the workforce. They are an oddity since employment rates for men of all ages, as well as for women of the same age, have recovered more fully.”

“As of November, around 89.7% of males aged 35 to 44 were employed or seeking employment, a significant decrease from the 90.9 percent recorded prior to the epidemic. The group’s employment rate began to improve last month, although on average during the previous year, it had been abnormally low.”

“Although it has affected men of all races, the drop in middle-aged men’s labor market participation has been most pronounced among those who, like Mr. Rizzo, have not completed a four-year college degree. The decline occurs despite increased incomes and a large number of employment vacancies, even in professions like truck driving and construction where a college degree is not necessary and where males predominate.”

“The Biden administration is introducing tens of thousands of border crossers to the labor market via a parole pipeline that enables people who are freed from the border to get work permits, in addition to the millions of foreign workers given temporary visas to take American jobs.”

Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA) noted last week during a congressional committee that “the Dems. have never articulated how working families are aided by flooding the job market with cheap illegal workers.”
