Over the last year, we’ve gotten a glimpse into how Biden’s agencies are being run. And we can honestly conclude that nobody working for Joe knows what they are doing. From his press department to the Pentagon to the Department of Transportation, Biden has the worst of the worst running top federal agencies. But perhaps the very worst are the clowns that run his State Department.
We aren’t pulling this out of thin air. These are the same idiots who, months into the administration, botched a meeting with China in Alaska. They both offended the Chinese officials and let the commies walk all over them. But the worst was yet to come in Afghanistan. We saw from the outside how the State Department botched the emergency evacuation. Now, a new report reveals just how incompetent this agency is under Biden.
State Department officials were reluctant to take the imminent fall of Kabul seriously, according to a U.S. Army report detailing the final days before the Taliban took control of Afghanistan…
Acting U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan reportedly pushed back on initial efforts to evacuate, at first trying to maintain a diplomatic presence in [the] country and then asking for two weeks to evacuate…
Things got much worse once Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country, signaling the collapse of the government, and the Taliban took control…
At the embassy, U.S. troops went room to room on Aug. 15, pressing people to meet deadlines and get ready to go, an Army officer from the 10th Mountain Division told investigators. Some State Department personnel were “intoxicated and cowering in rooms,” and others were “operating like it was day-to-day operations with absolutely no sense of urgency or recognition of the situation,” the officer said. A 2,000-page report was released, revealing the U.S. Army’s assessment of Afghanistan before and during its fall. It details the conflict that was going on between the military—who were fighting to maintain an orderly system—and Biden’s State Department, which was totally out-of-control.
Biden’s ambassador refused to sign off on a plan to prepare an evacuation early. The embassy resisted calls from top military officials to properly prepare. The Army wanted to hold onto Bagram Air Base, but Biden’s decisions left their hands tied. They also wanted to prepare supplies for an evacuation, but the State Department said they didn’t want to “spook” other countries. Which is code for, they didn’t want to look bad.
Even as the Taliban took over, the State Department’s embassy in Kabul was in disarray. They had over a month to prepare, longer even, given the Army’s advice. But on August 15, troops found staff woefully unprepared. Some were even drunk and “cowering in rooms.” Others were in denial, just going about their “day-to-day” tasks as if the country wasn’t falling to terrorists.
This proves that Biden’s State Department is being run by hacks. When the chips were down, none of them had the experience or ability to lead. Even after the evacuation, it was the State Department who posed an obstacle to private flights sent to rescue stranded Americans.
It seems nobody in the agency has any clue what they are doing.
