Adam Schiff’s Mortgage Missteps: A Legacy of Deceit?

Adam Schiff’s Mortgage Missteps: A Legacy of Deceit?

Adam Schiff built his entire political career on lies. He lied about Trump-Russia “collusion.” He lied during both impeachment hoaxes. He lied to the American people every time he opened his mouth on cable news. And now—surprise, surprise—it looks like he may have been lying to banks and taxpayers, too.

According to a criminal referral sent to the Department of Justice, Schiff is under scrutiny for what the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) calls a “sustained pattern of possible occupancy misrepresentation” on at least five federally backed mortgages. In plain English: Adam Schiff may have committed mortgage fraud for years by lying about where he actually lived in order to get better loan terms.

Let’s be clear—this isn’t some clerical error. This is a 16-year-long paper trail of Schiff allegedly declaring his Potomac, Maryland mansion as his “primary residence” while simultaneously claiming California residency to serve in Congress and collect tax breaks. You can’t have it both ways. Either he lived in Maryland and misrepresented his legal residency to hold office in California, or he lived in California and lied to lenders to get sweetheart mortgage deals. Either way, it smells a lot like fraud.

President Trump didn’t mince words. “I have always suspected Shifty Adam Schiff was a scam artist,” he wrote on Truth Social. “And now I learn that Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division have concluded that Adam Schiff has engaged in a sustained pattern of possible Mortgage Fraud.” That’s exactly right. This isn’t just a political squabble—it’s about trust, law, and accountability.

For years, Schiff positioned himself as the moral compass of the Democrat Party. He bragged about having “evidence” of Trump wrongdoing that never existed. He ran for Senate in 2024 as a “defender of democracy.” Yet behind the scenes, he was allegedly gaming the system for personal financial gain—cheating federal mortgage programs designed to help responsible Americans afford homes.

The timeline is damning. Schiff purchased the Maryland property in 2003 and continually reaffirmed it as his principal residence during multiple refinancing deals. In 2017, he even paid California property taxes using checks with his Maryland address—another red flag. And while he was telling banks one thing, he was telling voters another. In 2023, he launched his Senate campaign in California, and by 2024, he was elected as a California Senator. So which is it? Maryland or California?

This isn’t just a technical oversight—it’s a pattern of deception. Schiff allegedly used false residency declarations to obtain favorable Fannie Mae-backed loans. That means your tax dollars were potentially used to subsidize fraudulent mortgage deals for a man who spent his career trying to criminalize his political opponents. The hypocrisy is staggering.

And let’s not forget, this isn’t happening in a vacuum. Just earlier this year, the DOJ began reviewing similar allegations against New York Attorney General Letitia James, who also claimed a Virginia home as her “primary residence” under questionable circumstances. What we’re seeing is a pattern of corruption among high-ranking Democrats who believe the rules don’t apply to them.

Now the ball is in Attorney General Pam Bondi’s court. The FHFA, under Director William Pulte, has done its job by referring the matter for prosecution. Fannie Mae’s financial crimes division has laid out the evidence. If Schiff were a Republican, CNN would be running 24/7 specials about a “crisis of democracy.” But because he’s a Democrat, the corporate media is treating this like a paperwork error.

Conservatives have always known Adam Schiff is a fraud. Now we may finally get the receipts to prove it in a court of law. And when he’s held accountable, it won’t just be justice for Trump—it will be justice for every American who plays by the rules while corrupt elites like Schiff cheat the system and lecture the rest of us about “ethics.”

It’s time to clean house. The American people are watching. And under President Trump’s leadership, justice is no longer optional—it’s mandatory.
