Schumer Rams Through Radical Agenda in Last-Minute Frenzy

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is in full “ram-it-through” mode, trying to push through as many Biden-appointed judges as possible before the new Republican-led Congress takes charge on January 3, 2025. Schumer seems intent on squeezing every drop of power he can before the GOP sweeps in with their new mandate to restore some sanity to Washington.

After the landslide victory that put President-elect Trump back in the Oval Office, Republicans now hold all three branches of government. That’s right—the White House, the House of Representatives, and the Senate are solidly red. The left is reeling, watching their grip on power slip away. But instead of taking the hint, Schumer is rushing headlong to confirm Biden’s judges before his gavel gets retired.

Schumer even boasted on Thursday about his fast-track approach. “The Senate will continue confirming Joe Biden’s highly qualified nominees,” he announced proudly. Among the latest confirmations: Cathy Fung for the U.S. Tax Court and David Huitema as Director of the Office for Government Ethics. Schumer also pushed Embry Kidd’s judicial nomination to the 11th Circuit, likely hoping to secure as many liberal-leaning decisions as possible before the GOP resets the agenda.

And of course, while Schumer is busy stacking the courts, some in the GOP, like RINO Senator John Cornyn, are doing what they do best—taking aim at their own party’s incoming administration. Cornyn’s latest gripe? Trump’s nomination of Rep. Matt Gaetz as Attorney General. Instead of celebrating a win for the people who sent Trump back to the White House, Cornyn is reportedly threatening to stir up an ethics report over old, debunked allegations. It’s classic D.C. maneuvering, and it shows that not every “Republican” is on board with the Trump agenda.

For the Democrats, losing power doesn’t mean gracefully stepping aside; it means a last-ditch effort to fill every vacant seat they can, even as voters have clearly demanded a different direction. They’re clinging to the bench and the bureaucracy because they know these unelected posts are their best bet to keep pushing their agenda. And with RINOs like Cornyn ready to throw roadblocks in front of Trump, it’s obvious that some swamp creatures haven’t gotten the memo.

This scramble to jam the courts with Biden judges is just another reminder of what we’re up against. But with Trump back in the White House and a GOP majority in Congress, there’s a new sheriff in town. The left can stall, pout, and cry, but come January, the adults will be back in charge.
